Bus Transfers To and From Cluj Airport

Cluj International Airport is served by several bus services, including a shuttle bus service that operates in both directions to and from the city center. The trip takes around half an hour, including all the stops along the way.

Tickets can be purchased on the bus or in advance from the information desk at the airport. There is also a taxi stand at the airport, where travelers can wait for taxis to transport them into the central business district of Cluj-Napoca.

From the airport to the city center, there are two different bus lines that passengers can take.

• The airport is serviced by bus line 8, which travels from the heart of Cluj-Napoca to the Mihai Viteazul Square. Between the hours of 4:55 am and 10:07 pm, there is a bus departure every 15 minutes on average. The trip will take approximately half an hour.
• The airport is served by Bus Line 5, which travels to Piața Gării Street (Main Train Station). Buses leave at regular intervals of 10–20 minutes, Monday through Friday between 4:57 am, and 10:38 pm, Saturday between 05:10 am and 10:26 pm, and Sunday between 05:30 am and 10:26 pm (Sun).
